Senior Mechanical Production Assembly Technician –Set Up Joint
SUMMARY:
The Senior Mechanical Production Technician will be a key contributor to Hansen’s success by building and testing precision sub assemblies that will be integrated into our flagship Sensei Robotic Cardiac Catheter Surgical System.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build complex equipment which involves precision machined parts for a medical surgical system
- Build, adjust, and test electro-mechanical sub-systems per detailed instructions.
- Troubleshoot the finished sub-system to ensure design criteria has been met
- Interface with engineers to create new and improve existing manufacturing processes and procedures
- Assist with R&D activities, such as life-cycle and stress tests.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school graduate
- Four or more years experience in complex electro-mechanical assembly and test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience utilizing automated test equipment
- Competency assembling precision mechanisms, robotics or similar mechanical devices
- Experience with common mechanical hand tools and measuring tools: i.e. calipers, micrometer
- Ability to read assembly drawings and understand mechanical tolerances
- Experience with assembly procedures, manufacturing processes and inspection procedures
- Commitment to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 9000 or similar)
- Experience with PC (Windows)
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds.
