Software Test Engineer

SUMMARY:
Working in a multi-disciplinary environment with software, control, electrical and mechanical engineers our Software Test Engineer will be testing complex electro-mechanical medical device products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and execute test plans and protocols ensuring adequate testing coverage
- Work with development teams to review and improve requirements, specifications and test plans
- Develop automated test scripts
- Perform regression and ad hoc testing
- Document defects in a defect tracking system
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience testing software and developing test suites
- BS/MS in EE, CS or equivalent
- Test automation experience
- Software testing experience in electro-mechanical devices
- Experience in medical device industry is a plus
- Ability to work in small development teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for testing
