This position will design and develop digital and analog electronics for Hansen’s robotic catheter system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design digital and analog circuits at the circuit board level, including component selection, circuit design, schematic entry, FPGA design, simulation, and supervision of PCB layout.
Select system level components.
Integrate circuit board designs at system level.
Develop formal requirements and specifications.
Develop design verification protocols and verify designs.
Document and release designs to manufacturing.
Support manufacturing and test engineering.
REQUIREMENTS:
BSEE with minimum 5 yrs. engineering experience, advanced degree preferred.
Primary skills should include designing and developing digital and analog electronics at board and system level.
Proficient in FPGA design using VHDL or Verilog synthesis and verification. Analog simulation experience a plus. Signal integrity experience a plus.
Experience with schematic entry tools.
Strong digital and analog electronics skills.
Ability to work in small development teams.
Medical equipment design experience is desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
